1st Line IT Helpdesk Technician

We seek candidates with relevant IT experience, including a very good working knowledge of PCs, Microsoft operating systems (both desktop and server environments), popular Windows applications, networks, and email. You should possess a working knowledge of Active Directory/Domain environments, Microsoft Outlook/POP3/Exchange email systems, and antivirus software, monitoring, and email security platforms. Familiarity with networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN Access), internet access and restrictions, troubleshooting, and reporting is essential. Experience with remote support tools (including Remote Desktop and VNC applications) and peripherals (printers, scanners, wireless network devices) is important. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Office 365, is required. While an understanding of motor retail manufacturer systems and interfaces is desirable, knowledge of IP telephone and SIP systems would be advantageous. We expect you to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a polite and friendly telephone demeanor, and the ability to work under pressure while diffusing confrontational situations. Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn while working within a team are also necessary attributes.
