Requirements
Must:
- Valid UK driver's license.
- Experience in a service desk or technician environment.
- Proficiency in Windows 10 / 11 administration.
- Knowledge of M365 / Teams.
- Experience in physical hardware management, including laptop provisioning.
- Basic knowledge of networking and patching.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
As an IT Support Technician, I will work closely with the IT and wider teams across the organization, providing 1st and 2nd Line support. My role will involve participating in various IT projects, including upgrades, replacing virtualization software, and assisting in the installation of new equipment. I will handle equipment directly and provide solutions to IT issues, while also ensuring that IT systems and procedures are properly documented.
Description
I am part of a large and growing private sector organization based in Guildford, and I am looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team. This is a permanent role that requires being in the office five days a week. I am excited to offer opportunities for progression, development, and upskilling with training provided. The starting salary is up to £35,000, along with increased benefits from July, including 36 days of annual leave (inclusive of public holidays), enhanced parental leave after 52 weeks, a bonus scheme, a pension scheme matching up to 10%, private healthcare and dental care, life assurance, ongoing training, and various other staff benefits.
