Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Telephony Engineer with proven experience in migrating contact centres to Microsoft Teams. You should have strong expertise in Microsoft Teams Voice and telephony infrastructure, along with hands-on experience with Session Border Controllers (SBCs), direct routing, and call flow design. Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex telephony issues are essential. Strong leadership and communication skills are necessary as you will guide, mentor, and support the team. Experience in an enterprise environment with large-scale deployments is also required.
Responsibilities
As a Telephony Engineer, you will be responsible for the migration of our call/contact centre from Unity to Microsoft Teams. You will provide hands-on technical expertise in telephony, including design, configuration, and troubleshooting. Collaboration with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to develop and execute a migration strategy is key. You will lead workshops and training sessions to upskill team members and end-users, ensuring the new telephony system aligns with business requirements and enhances customer experience. Identifying potential risks and troubleshooting technical issues during and after migration will be part of your role. Additionally, you will document best practices, processes, and solutions to improve future implementations.
