Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with 3 years of backend engineering experience, ideally with a focus on distributed systems or infrastructure.
- You should have exposure to high-velocity startups and understand the transition from scrappy MVPs to robust systems.
- Strong system design skills are essential, as I want someone who takes problems from end-to-end rather than just handing off parts.
- It would be a bonus if you have experience managing LLM infrastructure at scale.
- I value pragmatism and resourcefulness, and I'm looking for someone who can operate autonomously in lean teams.
- You should be excited about working onsite in Soho, London, with a dedicated team building something exceptional.
Responsibilities
- As one of the first Backend Engineers focused on our platform and infrastructure, you will build core systems capable of handling tens of millions of lines of code and large-scale LLM workloads.
- You will own significant pieces of the architecture, including job orchestration, APIs, infrastructure, and developer tooling.
- Your work will enable product teams to thrive by creating reliable, well-designed infrastructure that scales without hindering progress.
- You will manage complex LLM infrastructure, addressing real-time usage, flaky providers, token routing, and more.
- I expect you to elevate quality across the board, including aspects like observability, authentication, reliability, and beyond.
