Requirements
Must:
- I have a competent working knowledge of the Windows Operating System with familiarity in some or all of the following technologies: Windows 7, 8.1; Microsoft Office; Browsers; Local Account Management; Scripting; Installs and removals; Registry; Command Line; and System Management Tools.
- I possess a competent working knowledge of PC installations and repairs.
- I am able to work with minimum supervision and take the initiative.
- I can prioritize tasks effectively.
- I am available to work additional hours as required.
Responsibilities
- I troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnosing problems with computers, printers, and mobile devices.
- I install and configure systems, setting up operating systems, applications, and network tools.
- I provide technical support, assisting users via phone, email, or in person with IT-related queries.
- I understand cybersecurity basics, recognizing threats like phishing and knowing how to protect systems.
- I manage networks, possessing basic knowledge of LAN/WAN setups, IP addressing, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- I document support tasks, keeping records of issues, solutions, and system changes.
- I am committed to learning and adapting, staying updated with new technologies, and continuously improving my technical skills.
- I work under the guidance of Senior IT professionals to complete IT project tasks to a high standard.
