Requirements
Must:
- A valid driving license is essential, with a preference for driving due to mileage estimates.
- PC/EPOS skills are required; training will be provided.
- Strong enthusiasm for the role as a valuable opportunity.
- Flexibility in terms of travel, working hours, and technical exposure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and a willingness to follow procedures and structured schedules.
- Basic PC knowledge and a logical, practical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently after initial training.
Responsibilities
- Installing new PCs and EPOS systems.
- Rebuilding PCs and reloading MS operating systems.
- Diagnosing and repairing receipt printers and cash drawers.
- Troubleshooting and repairing laser printers, barcode scanners, and other hardware.
- Providing technical support on-site, often with limited supervision after initial training.
- Working with customers to resolve issues and deliver excellent service.
Description
We are a nationwide IT support organization established in 1988, working in partnership with manufacturers, software houses, and system integrators. Our mission is to provide our clients with a structured “break fix” service along with engineering resources for installations and rollouts. We also support network infrastructures, including server build and support, data center hosting, and management.
In this role, you can expect a salary of up to £30K, depending on your experience, with additional overtime paid at designated rates, including weekend availability. We offer performance-based incentive bonuses, a company-provided van or car for work-related travel, ongoing training to enhance your technical expertise, and flexible working hours in a supportive environment.
