Requirements

- HGV1 Class 1 C+E driver license
- Experience in HGV driving (1 year preferred)
- Driver CPC certification (preferred)

- Deliver full load and part load general haulage throughout the UK using curtainside trailers
- Generally work between 3-4 nights away each week, primarily from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon work, which may increase the number of nights away to 5
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods
Description
At Starlings Transport & Storage Ltd, we offer a flat rate of £13.80 per hour from Monday to Friday, with no deductions for breaks. Pay rates are £18.00 per hour for Saturday and £21.00 per hour for Sunday. We also provide a night out allowance of £30.00 per night (subject to tax and NI), a midday meal allowance of £10.00 per day (tax-free), and an incidental allowance of £5.00 per day (tax-free). We offer 28 days of paid time off per year (inclusive of Bank Holidays) and participation in the Perkbox discount scheme. Employees also benefit from a £60,000 death in service benefit, and full uniform & PPE are provided. We have immediate starts available, and the position is full-time. Benefits include free and on-site parking. Work will be conducted in person at our depot in North Walsham.
