Requirements
Must:
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and amend PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced formulas.
- Effective communicator capable of delivering information in a constructive and empathetic manner.
- Experience in analyzing, comparing, interpreting, and presenting complex data sets.
- Ability to translate operational and contractual requirements into actionable data insights.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Knowledge of optimizing data processes, with expertise in providing insight and analysis through clear visual and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Capable of presenting spreadsheet information, including numerical data.
Responsibilities
- Act as a dedicated first point of contact on the helpdesk support system, providing timely and professional assistance to clients regarding their facilities and estate.
- Collect issue information over the phone, understanding, empathizing, and providing solutions to clients in a polite and calm manner.
- Monitor responses and recognize trends related to contract performance and service standard management outcomes by reviewing data from contractor CAFM systems.
- Manage monthly reporting against payment mechanisms and deduction profiles.
- Provide planned and ad hoc reports to clients regarding service activities across the Help Desk.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the support desk service.
- Oversee and challenge the appropriateness of performance data within the contractual setting.
- Manage client data collection system updates and ensure helpdesk records are kept accurate and up-to-date.
- Process monthly report data and administer technical distribution.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provide feedback to the management team regarding service desk effectiveness, common issues, trends, and potential improvements.
Description
We are a specialist Private Finance Initiative and asset management consultancy focused on improving the effectiveness and value for money of private sector services provided to the public sector. Since our launch in 2007, we have developed expertise in contractual and commercial negotiations, facilities management, and capital project management. We are seeking a curious and collaborative Support Desk and Data Analyst to join our team in Leeds, Yorkshire. This part-time role (20 hours per week) offers a salary of £25-28k pro rata, depending on experience. We offer benefits such as 25 days annual leave (pro rata), private medical insurance, an annual bonus scheme, and support for professional development and training.
