We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in a third-line support or similar role, specifically in managing and troubleshooting cloud-hosted solutions. The ideal applicant should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including monitoring tools, resource management, and cost optimization. Advanced SQL skills for writing, debugging, and optimizing queries are essential, along with proficiency in C# for troubleshooting application code and debugging issues. A solid understanding of application troubleshooting related to database and infrastructure issues is necessary, as well as familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights. It is also important to have experience supporting a B2B Azure Cloud environment.
Responsibilities
As our Cloud Support Engineer - 3rd Line, you will act as a third-line support engineer for escalated issues, resolving complex technical problems. Your role will involve investigating and resolving issues related to application functionality, data discrepancies, and cloud infrastructure. You will continuously monitor cloud resources — including CPU, memory, and storage — to identify potential issues before they impact customers and implement alerts and dashboards to track system health and performance. In addition, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining SQL scripts to extract, analyze, and rectify data within databases, while also developing C# scripts and tools for automating tasks and assisting in troubleshooting. Oversight of Azure deployments will be part of your duties, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost optimization. You will collaborate closely with development, first-line, and second-line support teams to ensure smooth issue resolution and document processes, fixes, and tools for internal use and knowledge sharing.
