Responsibilities
- As a Senior Support Worker, I will support the day-to-day needs of individuals, including cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
- I expect you to encourage good personal hygiene and provide an emotionally secure, supportive, and caring environment that respects the social, cultural, and religious needs of those we support.
- You will assist with managing tenancy, benefits, and finances, as well as facilitate access to community involvement and resources.
- Additional duties include supporting individuals in health-related matters, such as medication management and accessing GP appointments, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and aiding in educational and employment opportunities.
- You will also maintain cleanliness in the supported living environment and mentor new starters while supervising the effective running of the service in collaboration with the locality manager.
