Requirements
Must:
- I require at least 2 years of experience in IT support, specifically with Windows 10/11 and macOS.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, device imaging, and file/printer permissions is essential.
- I seek individuals with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in educational settings are a must.
- You must hold a full UK driving license and have access to your own vehicle.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to provide onsite support for hardware and software issues, including PCs, laptops, iPads, printers, AV, and networking.
- You will administer and maintain user accounts, devices, and system configurations.
- Supporting Office 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and email, is part of your duties.
- I need you to maintain accurate records via our IT Helpdesk system.
- You will liaise with third-party vendors and escalate issues where necessary.
- Conducting routine system checks, updates, antivirus monitoring, and documentation will be part of your regular tasks.
- Assisting with the onboarding and offboarding of users and devices is also expected.
- Regular travel between school sites is required.

In this field-based role based in Swindon, I am looking for a proactive IT Technician to deliver first- and second-line technical support across a group of Swindon-based clients. This role involves maintaining technology infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and providing essential IT support to users.
