Requirements
Must:
We are looking for applicants who possess a strong foundation in IT support, ideally gained within a business or managed services environment. Essential requirements include:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical support role.
- A Level 5 qualification in an IT-related subject (or equivalent practical experience).
- Solid understanding of:
- Microsoft Windows & Office applications.
- Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper-V).
- Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID).
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, firewall setup.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational ability with the capacity to prioritize effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Desirable skills include:
- Familiarity with PSA systems (e.g., Autotask).
- Experience using RMM tools (e.g., Datto RMM).
- Knowledge of Intune, PowerShell scripting, or cloud-managed security solutions.
- Exposure to common business applications such as Sage.

Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to business clients across Northern Ireland.
- Take ownership of incidents and service requests, managing them through to resolution via a professional services automation (PSA) tool.
- Deliver IT projects including system migrations, upgrades, and hardware rollouts.
- Proactively monitor and maintain client environments using RMM tools, ensuring issues are resolved before they cause disruption.
- Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact and technical advisor.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, continuously expanding your knowledge base.
Description
We offer a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £38,000 depending on experience, along with additional overtime opportunities.
