Requirements

Must:
To join us as a Registered Nurse/RMN, you’ll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a current NMC registration and a qualification in teaching, mentoring, or supervision. A strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge is crucial, along with a good understanding of key regulatory frameworks, including the safe administration of medicines. We’re looking for a successful track record of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments. Ideally, you should be a mental health nurse or a nurse with strong mental health experience.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for: - Providing care to patients and residents based on their care plans as outlined by their doctors. - Accurately monitoring and recording observations on patients' conditions. - Maintaining accurate records of residents' care, financial procedures, and medication administration. - Identifying care planning needs and carrying out risk assessments. - Recording patients' vital signs and medical information, and reevaluating care plans as conditions change. - Consulting and coordinating with other healthcare team members. - Directing or supervising less experienced nursing staff. - Monitoring patients' diet and exercise. - Preparing patients and assisting with treatments, surgery, or exams as needed. - Managing stocks of supplies and ensuring proper storage and disposal of medications according to policy. - Participating in clinical improvements and offering ideas on clinical and non-clinical policies. - Assisting with the investigation of complaints from patients or family members. - Maintaining continuing education and licensing requirements. - Reporting any issues that arise during each shift.

Description


We require at least 1 year of nursing experience, with experience in recording accurate records. The ability to work as part of a team, excellent communication skills, and mentorship skills are essential. You should be computer literate and able to cope in a crisis, demonstrating ethical values and ongoing professional and personal growth. You must also be able to be on your feet for long periods of time. This is a full-time position, with expected hours of 48 per week. The pay ranges from £20.00 to £22.00 per hour.
