Requirements

Must:
To be successful in this role, you will need previous commercial experience in a technical support role, ideally within a Managed Service Provider (MSP). You should have experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac devices, as well as prior support and management of Microsoft 365 products, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune. Experience with Azure and a basic understanding of networking—including DNS, VLANs, and connectivity issues—are also required. We value customer focus and a strong desire to provide excellent customer service. Additionally, an understanding of ITIL and any computing certifications would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

As a 1st Line Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact when a customer has a technical issue. You will support customers via telephone and email to troubleshoot and perform initial diagnoses of their issues. It will be your responsibility to prioritize incidents based on customer impact and urgency, document recurring issues, and share them with the team. You will also monitor system performance metrics and maintain communication with the customer, escalation routes, and the wider team on any issues. In this role, you will support and uphold the company’s Information Security Management System in line with ISO regulations.

We are looking for someone who is inquisitive and possesses the technical capabilities to question, troubleshoot, diagnose, or escalate issues while providing superb customer service.
