Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a skilled 3rd Line WAN Network Support & Project Engineer. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience in configuring and tuning the following:
- Juniper SRX platform, with thorough understanding of Junos and various SRX and MX platforms, along with comprehensive CLI exposure.
- Routing and switching, with a strong background in BGP, including policy-based routing, manipulation of attributes, load-balancing techniques, and a comprehensive troubleshooting skill set.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting IPSEC VPNs and MPLS is essential.
You must also hold security clearance (SC) or be eligible for SC (sole UK nationals only).
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Configure SRX series routers to meet tight project deadlines while supporting BAU operations to deliver secure network services on a global scale.
- Engage in a mix of project implementation work and general technical network support escalations.
- Collaborate effectively with the network design community, engaging in knowledge sharing and upskilling within the 3rd line team.
- Act as a technical lead and point of escalation for network-related faults, ensuring effective troubleshooting and tuning of Juniper network devices.
