Must:
As an ideal candidate, you will have strong technical expertise and a customer-focused approach. You need to be confident working across a range of IT support tasks. Essential qualifications include experience in IT support, particularly with Active Directory and Office 365. Additionally, knowledge of modern printer systems and cloud backups is required. Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on excellent customer service are vital, along with a solid technical foundation in a BYOD environment, primarily with MacOS. Familiarity with asset management systems is also important.
Responsibilities
In the role of IT Support Engineer, I will expect you to provide first to second line IT support, which includes resolving in-person requests, handling tickets, and addressing email requests. You will set up new user accounts and configure hardware, including Android devices and modern printer systems. Supporting internal projects such as asset management and cloud backups will be key duties, along with managing MacOS, Active Directory, and Office 365 environments. You will also assist with change management requests and system upgrades.
Description
This position is a 6-12 month temporary role located in Belfast City Centre, making it ideal for someone seeking to avoid the Belfast commute. The salary ranges from £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, and the working week consists of 37.5 hours. There is potential for this role to transition into a permanent position in the future.
