Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in rolling out Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Ability to collaborate with software owners to determine licensing and access requirements.
- Experience in creating RBAC groups for managing the sign-on process.
- Proficient in integrating applications with Google SSO or SAML protocols.
- Capability to prepare documentation and provide end-user training for a smooth transition.
- Experience in migrating systems from private cloud platforms to Azure public cloud.
- Skill in building new server environments and transferring services to the new platform.
- Ability to develop test plans to ensure services perform correctly post-migration.
- Experience in managing post-migration clean-up, decommissioning outdated services, and reviewing cost-saving opportunities.
- Knowledge in reviewing the infrastructure software portfolio for necessary updates or end-of-life statuses.
- Experience in testing software updates in a controlled development environment.
- Ability to submit changes for approval via the change management board.
- Proficient in developing SCCM packages and scripts for deploying updates or removing software components.
- Capability to monitor the success of software updates across the infrastructure to ensure consistency.
- Willingness to work on-site 3 days per week in Oxfordshire.
- Eagerness to learn, support the wider team, and tackle challenges.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on a pivotal 6-month infrastructure project.
- Collaborate with team members and software owners to streamline user access and license management.
- Create and implement role-based access control groups.
- Integrate applications with various authentication protocols.
- Prepare documentation and train end-users to facilitate a smooth transition.
- Migrate existing systems to the Azure public cloud environment.
- Build new server environments and efficiently transfer services.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure functionality post-migration.
- Manage the clean-up process, decommission outdated services, and identify cost-saving measures.
- Review and update the software portfolio as necessary, while also managing testing for software updates.
- Submit necessary changes for approval and monitor the successful deployment of software across the infrastructure.
