Requirements
Must:
We expect you to have at least 2 years of experience in IT or telecoms support or infrastructure roles. A strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud-based systems is essential. You should have experience with networking, firewalls, VPNs, and mobile/telephony platforms. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills in a B2B environment are crucial. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, and have a passion for customer service and continuous improvement. Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Associate, are desirable.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Engineer, you will provide 2nd and 3rd line support across hardware, software, networks, and cloud services. You will act as an escalation point for complex technical issues from the Support team. Your role will involve supporting and maintaining Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud telephony platforms. You will assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and security improvements. Additionally, you will liaise with customers, partners, and suppliers via phone, email, and ticketing systems. Contributing to documentation, compliance, and service continuity processes will also be part of your responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and share your technical knowledge while staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
