Requirements
Must:
- Solid IT support experience, with existing experience in managing/leading IT service and supplier strategies.
- Experience in a professional services environment (accountancy, legal, consultancy, etc.) is preferred.
- A broad knowledge of standard Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 and IT security protocols and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in software and supplier management, systems maintenance, and technical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Join our IT team and manage a support team of 4 across 2 locations to provide exceptional support to approximately 500 users.
- Lead the team while also maintaining hands-on support responsibilities.
- Coordinate and manage software updates across the firm's IT systems.
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers.
- Oversee performance reporting, improve issue resolution time, ensure compliance and security, and handle general system maintenance.
Description
As part of our ongoing business growth, we are looking for an IT Service Manager / Support Manager to join our successful accountancy firm based in Oxford. You will have the option to work from home up to 2 days a week, though some travel to various locations across the south of England will be required.
