Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to hold a Diploma Level 3 in Supporting Children and Young People or an equivalent qualification, or be actively working towards it. We value those who have experience in a residential environment and possess sound knowledge of the legislative frameworks that influence our practice, including an awareness of relevant regulations. The ability to implement care plans and risk assessments is advantageous. Additionally, candidates must possess basic IT skills, hold a valid full driving license, and have access to a car for work purposes.

In this role, you will work as part of a dedicated team, providing quality care to young people aged between 8-18 in a residential care environment. This includes collaborating with parents, carers, and a diverse range of professionals to meet the needs of the young people placed in our care. You will be expected to work shift patterns, including weekends, and complete sleep-ins as required.
Description
We are looking for both Senior Residential Staff and Experienced Residential Staff for our St Helens home, with salaries ranging from £23,484 to £30,480 per year. We seek enthusiastic, dynamic, and adaptable individuals who are committed to safeguarding young people and helping them achieve their potential. A sense of humor is also paramount in our working environment! As part of the role, you will enjoy various benefits such as a bonus scheme and increased hourly rates for additional hours worked. After completing your probationary period, you will receive gift vouchers of your choice valued at £100. Additionally, after one year of successful service, you will receive an extra day of annual leave, continuing until you reach five years of service.
