We are looking for a senior leader who can effectively integrate people, processes, and technology to achieve transformation. The ideal candidate will possess significant leadership experience in enterprise applications, digital transformation, and AI/automation adoption. You should have a proven track record at the senior programme manager/director level, leading large-scale, complex IT change programmes and delivering measurable outcomes. Additionally, expertise in enterprise system architecture, integration, and security frameworks is essential.
You must have a strong understanding of data strategy, governance, and interoperability, ideally with Azure platforms. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills are required, as you will need to influence senior decision-makers across both technical and non-technical domains. We are looking for someone who can see the strategic big picture while adopting an entrepreneurial mindset for effective delivery. Experience with ITIL, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks to ensure service quality and compliance is also preferred. Relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications in project/programme management, enterprise architecture, or AI/automation frameworks will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
As the Programme Director, you will:
- Lead AI strategy by creating and delivering a 5-year roadmap, championing AI-first principles, and overseeing centres of excellence and innovation hubs.
- Drive automation and application transformation by optimizing enterprise systems, promoting low/no-code solutions, and leading adoption across various departments such as HR, Finance, Library Services, and Research.
- Shape data and governance by developing data strategies, overseeing Azure-based platforms, and ensuring interoperability between applications and AI platforms.
- Deliver integrations at scale by designing event-driven architecture, leading the adoption of Dell Boomi, and ensuring seamless, secure data flow across enterprise systems.
- Provide leadership by directing high-performing teams, managing significant budgets, and influencing stakeholders at all levels to ensure that technology enables growth and service excellence.
- Create and manage successful partnerships to assist in the delivery of the programme.
