Requirements
Must:
- Experience in game design, product development, creative direction, or interactive storytelling.
- Strong understanding of tabletop, board games, puzzle, narrative, or mystery-based gameplay.
- Confident using AI creative tools and experimenting with new technologies.
- Technically curious, ideally familiar with low-code/no-code or app-prototyping tools.
- Commercially minded with an understanding of what engages players and drives sales.
- Highly organized and proactive, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communicator who collaborates well across creative and operations teams.
- Experience sourcing, hiring, and managing creative specialists or freelancers.
- Comfortable leading projects end-to-end with minimal direction, generating original concepts, and executing them.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end game development from concept to launch across various formats, including murder mysteries, cold-case files, board games, party games, and hybrid experiences.
- Improve and expand existing titles by enhancing gameplay, puzzles, and storylines.
- Utilize AI tools, such as ChatGPT and others, to assist in producing imagery, video, narrative assets, and puzzles.
- Research emerging creative and AI technologies to keep our products innovative.
- Explore and prototype app-based or digital gameplay experiences.
- Collaborate closely with writers, illustrators, designers, operations, and marketing teams.
- Oversee production planning, creative briefs, and launch timelines.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities.
- Identify, recruit, and manage freelance or external specialists as needed for each project.
- Build creative briefs, evaluate proposals, and ensure all outsourced work meets brand standards.

As we expand our offerings, including tabletop mysteries, original games, and outdoor experiences, we are looking for a Head of Game & Product Innovation to lead our next generation of experiences across our brands. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the creative and technical direction of our fast-growing entertainment brand, experiment with cutting-edge AI and narrative tools, and see your ideas transition from sketches to globally sold products.
