- I will prioritize and update support tickets based on urgency and gathered information. - I will follow, rewrite, and share detailed procedure documentation and quick-reference procedures for Tier I, II, III, and peers using company SharePoint or OneDrive, which should include staging, installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining physical and virtual servers. - I will communicate effectively across technical teams when working on, through, or escalating issues. - I will monitor, identify, and correct issues with platforms including Hyper-V, application support, server, SAN/NAS, etc. - I will participate in on-call rotation for urgent after-hours issues (currently on a 1 in 3 rotation). - I will manage and execute change requests as part of formal change control, collaborating with internal teams as necessary to ensure smooth deployments. - I will design and select storage, data center, network, and client/server environments to design solutions in line with industry best practices. - I will maintain assigned portals/websites, using content creation and management tools as well as digital media. - I will perform website/application software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues. - I will provide fault isolation and resolution to limit and address issues promptly. - I will contribute to reviewing existing operations in my area of work and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements. - I will implement required security measures such as firewalls or message encryption. - I will identify and report noncompliance with policies and escalate as needed. - I will develop my personal capabilities through training, education, and certification to stay current with best practices and technology.
