Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in desktop support duties.
- You should exhibit the ability to engage and coordinate with cross-departmental teams to achieve shared objectives.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of IT-related work experience, education, and training is essential.
- General working knowledge of networking protocols such as DNS and TCP/IP and networking concepts is needed.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Experience with ticketing systems and SLAs will be beneficial.
- You should have experience with desktops, laptops, peripherals, Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft D365FO, Microsoft Warehouse Mobile Application and Hardware (tablets), Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Antivirus, VOIP phones, mobile devices, remote assistance, and VPN client software.
- The ability to work on-call and occasionally outside normal business hours according to business needs is required.
- Experience supporting Windows Operating Systems in an enterprise environment is desirable.
- Comp TIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft MCP certification is highly desired.
- You should be able to work in a chilled warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project management skills is appreciated.
Responsibilities
- I will assist in providing problem resolution, analysis, specifications and configurations, coordination, testing, and installation of computer/mobile device-based software, peripherals, local area networks (LAN), and other peripheral equipment.
- I will maintain the highest level of asset control and adherence to departmental/system policy directives and data security.
- First-level problem resolution for enterprise computer/mobile device hardware, handheld devices, operating system software, application programs, peripheral equipment, server, and LAN interfaces will be provided by me.
- I will apply my system expertise, skills, and knowledge effectively to solve technical problems with desktop workstations, personal computers, associated equipment, and network connectivity throughout the company user community.
- I will collaborate with other Desktop Support staff, Network Admins, application developers, and IT personnel to resolve technical issues as required.
- Working with other IT team members, I will provide timely support services to the user, receive, log-in, document, and close-out trouble calls using the helpdesk service system.
- I will assist in analyzing, defining specifications, configuring, coordinating, installing, repairing, and testing computer/mobile devices and peripheral equipment.
- Support for the development and integration of Power BI solutions is part of my role.
- I will assist and support Mission’s ERP and its ancillary systems, including D365FO, Truce Commerce EDI, and BluJay TMS.
- Other duties as required will also be part of my role.
- I will maintain a leadership role for all aspects of Health & Safety, ensuring the effective implementation of the Safety Management System.
- I will document and investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses reported to me correctly and promote a culture of safety.
