Must:
We are looking for a Software Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in Delphi (both front-end and back-end) and interaction with SQL databases. Strong SQL skills are essential, including the ability to manage live production databases and perform CRUD operations. Familiarity with Object-Oriented methodologies, a solid understanding of the full software development life cycle, and proven troubleshooting abilities for both software and hardware on PCs are crucial. Candidates must be able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively. Desirable skills include experience with barcode labeling (ZPL/EPL programming languages), familiarity with source code control systems like SVN or Git, knowledge of networking programming (TCP/IP, UDP), experience writing REST APIs, and exposure to ticketing systems such as ServiceNow. A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred, though HND qualifications may be considered if paired with relevant software development experience.
Responsibilities
As part of our small, dedicated team, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our in-house Manufacturing Execution System (MCS). You will contribute to projects that enhance the system's functionality and performance. Troubleshooting and resolving software and application issues across various systems will be a core part of your role. Additionally, you'll assist in maintaining other company Microsoft SQL databases and diagnose and resolve Windows PC issues related to the operating system, software, hardware, network, or security restrictions.
