Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as an IT Systems Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Strong background in networking design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems setup and support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with IT hardware specification, procurement, and installation.
- Solid understanding of IT security principles, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach.
- Ability to research, recommend, and implement new technologies to improve business processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support users across different levels and industries.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable networking systems across multiple sites.
- Manage, support, and optimise Point of Sale (POS) systems within hospitality operations.
- Administer Microsoft Office 365 and other Microsoft applications to ensure seamless collaboration and productivity.
- Oversee IT hardware procurement, installation, and lifecycle management.
- Implement and maintain IT security solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices and data protection standards.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new software solutions that drive continuous improvement across the businesses.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff across both creative media and hospitality teams.
- Document systems, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.

To support this vision, we are seeking a skilled IT Systems Engineer to ensure our technology infrastructure remains secure, efficient, and future-ready. In this hands-on role, you will take ownership of the design, implementation, and support of IT systems across our multi-site, multi-industry environment. The position is full-time and located in person, with a salary range of £30,000.00 to £36,000.00 per year.
