We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering subject
- Good understanding of hardware/software integration and test activities
- Familiarity with general commercial lab test equipment
- Familiarity with data analysis tools/methods
- An appreciation of electronics technologies relevant to MBDA’s design and production
- Creativity and practicality to tackle complex problems and derive logical solutions
- Adaptability and innovation in a varied and often fast-paced role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage a small team
Responsibilities
As the Functional Integration Lead, you will take on a key role within our Integration and Systems Validation (ISV) team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Leading and owning the technical delivery of functional integration and system verification activities for a program or family of systems
- Supporting the Chief Systems Proving Engineer in delivering all compatibility, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL), and software integration activities required to integrate and test missile and munition equipment
- Interfacing with various project customers and stakeholders to plan and achieve key design verification and evidence
- Employing a hands-on and practical approach in the planning and execution of integration and compatibility proving activities when necessary
- Managing and mentoring a team of integration engineers to foster skills development and knowledge sharing
