Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates with over 1 year of work or placement experience in IT Support, providing software and hardware support for a range of devices including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobiles. A degree in IT or a strong history of IT Support experience is essential. I value motivated learners and passionate team players with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt to various tasks across IT Support and IT projects. A valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle is also required.
Responsibilities
As an IT Support Officer, I will rely on you to provide IT support for our organisation’s infrastructure, offering software and hardware assistance across various devices. You will support the rollout of new hardware and systems, resolve escalated tickets, and maintain a high level of professional customer service. You will handle onsite service requests by resolving issues and setting up devices such as laptops, printers, and networks. Collaboration within a wider team of IT professionals is key, and you will be expected to work at a fast pace to deliver excellent IT service while traveling to various sites as needed.
Description
This role is based in Newry, offers a salary circa £25-30k per annum, and is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with the potential for temporary employment lasting 6 months and the possibility of becoming permanent. Our clients range from small local public sector organizations to large multinational tech companies, and we maintain close relationships with them.
