Must:
I am looking for a candidate with strong SQL skills and the confidence to work with complex datasets. You should have knowledge of PySpark and Azure Data Factory (ADF), along with experience in using Power BI for data modeling, validation, and optimization. A background in managing or collaborating with consultancies or offshore delivery teams is essential. Furthermore, the ability to create clear technical requirements and hold others accountable for their delivery is crucial. You must be a strong communicator, able to balance hands-on technical work with effective influencing skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and external consultancies, translating requirements into clear technical specifications. You will manage and quality-check offshore and third-party delivery, ensuring that outputs are accurate, scalable, and genuinely add value. When necessary, you will be hands-on, utilizing SQL, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory to develop, test, and refine data pipelines. Additionally, you will oversee reporting outputs in Power BI to ensure robust data models and that dashboards meet business needs. Finally, you will support the modernization of the data platform and help embed best practices across reporting and analytics.
