Requirements
Must:
- Strong ER advisory experience across core ER case types
- Confident user of ER case management systems
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist Employee Relations advice and process support across the workforce within a shared services environment
- Provide clear guidance to managers using policy, process and data, managing cases through the ER case management system
- Advise on ER cases including grievance, disciplinary, absence, probation and performance
- Manage high-volume caseloads (40–50 cases), including backlog clearance
- Resolve complex and escalated ER issues in line with SLAs
- Use and maintain ER systems in line with data protection requirements
- Analyse ER data to provide insight, recommendations and service improvements
- Support ongoing ER activity and projects across the service centre
Description
We are offering a 3-month contract for an ER Specialist role located in Birmingham, with London or Salford options available, including some travel to Birmingham. This hybrid role requires 5 days onsite for the first 2 weeks, followed by 1-2 days per week. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
