Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. You should have strong communication skills that enable you to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Expertise in data modeling and transformation is essential, along with experience working with large datasets, preferably using Databricks in Azure. Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), Power Apps, and SQL is required. Additionally, experience in managing multiple projects and exposure to DevOps tools is necessary.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will partner with research scientists, operations teams, and analysts to define requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining robust data models and automated pipelines for large-scale datasets. You will also develop scalable BI capabilities as part of a broader data democratization and strategy initiative. Promoting best practices in BI development, data governance, and knowledge sharing will be key aspects of your work. Furthermore, you will lead continuous improvement efforts to ensure that we are delivering increasing value across our organization.

Join us at the Waltham Petcare Science Institute, where we are dedicated to using science to power the future of pet health. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, transforming operational and research data into strategic, actionable insights. This role is central to supporting data-driven decisions across the institute and contributing to a culture of data excellence. We offer a hybrid work structure, requiring you to be onsite 2-3 days a week. This contract position will last for 12 months, with a start date as soon as possible.
