Requirements
Must:
As our HPC-Cloud Support Analyst, I am looking for candidates who possess the following skills:
- Previous experience in a support role
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with HPC technology is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of on-prem and Cloud platforms
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and monitoring methods for managing platforms
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, and Python
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Introduce new technologies or utilize existing technologies in innovative ways to benefit research
- Advise on and demonstrate technology capabilities
- Perform both routine and complex systems maintenance
- Design and deliver bespoke technology solutions
- Investigate replacement and new technology for research purposes
