Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record of leading software development teams in enterprise environments. You should have a deep understanding of modern architecture patterns, such as microservices and event-based systems. Experience overseeing large-scale transformation and system modernization initiatives is essential. You need to be confident in managing hybrid teams, both onshore and offshore, and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and Agile delivery frameworks is also required. Please note that you must be UK-based with the full right to work to be considered.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will lead multiple development teams delivering core retail solutions. I will be responsible for the budget and will enable the modernization of systems while reducing legacy dependencies through strong technical leadership. Additionally, I will align development practices with Agile, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps principles. My responsibilities will include guiding teams through complex delivery cycles in hybrid environments and driving collaboration across engineering, product, infrastructure, and architecture teams.
