Requirements
Must:
- A bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, infrastructure management, or a related technical field is preferred, but we will consider candidates with significant experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management or leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale technology projects, digital transformation initiatives, and budgets is expected.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP) can be beneficial.
Responsibilities
1. Technology Strategy & Product Leadership
- Own the end-to-end technology roadmap, covering internal systems, infrastructure, data, and development.
- Establish a clear product-led approach to how we design, build, enhance, and maintain technology.
- Translate business strategy into system priorities, capability plans, and investment proposals.
- Set standards for architecture, integrations, security, data governance, and delivery excellence.
- Develop and own the full Technology product roadmap, including design, development, release management, governance, cost, benefits, and future capability planning.
- Build and maintain a long-term systems roadmap, covering enhancements, user-requested features, automation, and AI-led improvements.
2. AI, Automation & Innovation
- Act as the driving force behind AI adoption across the business.
- Evaluate and introduce new platforms, APIs, and tooling to modernize our technology stack.
- Build a culture of experimentation, innovation, and measurable value delivery.
3. Development Leadership
- Lead the Lead Developer and internal dev team to deliver robust, scalable, well-governed solutions.
- Oversee sprint cycles, backlog prioritization, technical design, and release management.
4. Data & BI Leadership
- Support and steer the BI/MI Analytics Manager in building a data lake and defining a single source of truth.
- Ensure that decision-making, forecasting, compliance, and reporting all benefit from enhanced data capability.
5. Infrastructure & IT Services
- Oversee the IT Services Manager in managing hardware/device management, networks, security, and cloud services.
- Ensure IT operations remain stable, secure, compliant, and efficient.
6. Governance, Risk, Security & Compliance
- Own the technical elements of compliance, including ISO standards, infosec, GDPR controls, and audit trails.
7. Stakeholder Leadership & Value Delivery
- Partner with various departments to ensure tech development meets business needs.
- Track and report measurable value from new features, innovations, or infrastructure investments.
