IT Service Desk Manager

We are excited for you to join our global manufacturing and engineering firm, which boasts multiple sites both in the UK and internationally. As part of our IT Department, you will join a global group of technicians and support personnel who address issues across all sites. This structure fosters excellent communication skills and flexibility. Our UK operations currently employ around 350-400 individuals, with an impressive average service history of 12 years; in Stockport, where we have roughly 100-150 staff members, the average length of service is around 11 years. In this role, you will support computer applications and platforms within both office and manufacturing environments. You will focus on delivering exceptional IT support services while managing day-to-day operations alongside a team of technicians across UK-wide sites and supporting the Global IT Team based in the U.S. This position requires a strong technical background alongside a commitment to delivering top-notch service.
