### - Deep expertise in digital workplace technologies and enterprise collaboration platforms. - Proven leadership in technology functions across multiple locations. - Strong project management and business case development skills. - Effective communication with senior stakeholders, translating technical concepts for non-IT audiences. - Experience of budget management in excess of £3 million. - High professional credibility and ability to build strong partnerships. - Working knowledge of ITIL and commercial/procurement skills. - Degree qualification or equivalent experience. ###

Responsibilities

- Provide leadership and professional development for the Digital Workplace function. - Own and deliver the Digital Workplace roadmap, aligned with UKRI’s strategic objectives and CIO priorities. - Champion adoption of modern workplace technologies including End User Device services, Microsoft 365, Teams, and emerging collaboration platforms. - Represent Digital Workplace at internal and external forums. - Manage a team of 20 staff across multiple locations. - Promote the continued adoption of relevant communities. - Ensure alignment with security and architecture teams regarding implementation of security controls and architectural principles. - Deputize for the Deputy Director of Technology Services as required. - Develop and maintain strategic partnerships regarding Digital Workplace services. - Contribute to strategic plans ensuring alignment with UKRI objectives. - Stay informed on relevant industry trends and new technologies for potential integration. - Build effective networks with peer groups, UKRI Group IT colleagues, DSIT, and broader agency communities. - Own balance scorecard and KPI dashboard reporting for stakeholders. - Determine strategic, operational, and financial plans for the area of responsibility. - Manage contracts and supplier partnerships for all Digital Workplace product areas. - Oversee the Digital Workplace budget, identifying and delivering efficiencies. ###
