Must:
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line WAN Network Engineer who is eligible for SC Clearance as we will provide sponsorship. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Juniper SRX platforms, with Cisco expertise also being considered. A strong knowledge of BGP, including advanced troubleshooting, is essential. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience with IPSec VPNs and MPLS, as well as a good understanding of PKI for certificate-based VPN authentication. Experience with additional Juniper MX platforms and strong CLI skills would be a plus, along with a solid understanding of routing and switching protocols.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will support and configure Juniper SRX routers across the WAN estate. You will deliver technical 2nd line network support and handle escalations. Collaboration is key, so you will work closely with 1st line engineers to provide guidance and knowledge transfer, and collaborate with 3rd line engineers on projects and service improvements. Your primary goal will be to ensure the secure and reliable delivery of customer network services.
