- I provide positive and consistent customer service to our clients. - I care about the outcomes of the support I and the company offer. - I can organize my work and support other Helpdesk colleagues. - I am a team player and actively work together with all colleagues to provide proactive IT support. - I possess a wide variety of IT support knowledge, including remote access and specialist school software, and I am willing to investigate and resolve uncommon, challenging, and complex IT problems. - I have good communication skills with the ability to clarify and explain instructions clearly. - I ensure effective time management and prioritization. - I am capable of working independently and with initiative. - I have proven literacy and numeracy skills. - I have at least 2 years of IT support experience. - I ensure compliance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act in all areas of IT. - I possess GCSE or equivalent qualifications (required). - I am authorized to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

- I carry out all tasks set in IT at both our clients’ locations and internally within the company. - I maintain the highest standards of service and conduct with clients and visitors. - I complete all regularly scheduled tasks set in any client’s Service Level Agreement. - I uphold and develop professional relationships with clients. - I seek solutions to IT problems faced on a day-to-day basis. - I provide proactive IT support and communication to clients. - I raise, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve support tickets using our Management Information System (MIS). - I provide escalated support within the Helpdesk team, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving escalated support tickets. - I support technicians onsite during emergency call-outs for server or network issues. - I raise and process any other requests using the MIS or emailing system. - I support disaster recovery situations, ensuring successful data backup and restoration. - I liaise with third-party contractors as necessary. - I identify internet security and virus infection risks and repair them as needed. - I provide support for additional services outside of SLAs, such as broadband, VOIP, and MIS. - I install and configure solutions for remote working, backups, VOIP, and Anti-Virus. - I carry out Microsoft 365 email and Teams migrations. - I work within the parameters of my access level, which may include limited access to the site domain controller and Server/Cloud services. - I fully support the directors and managers with the implementation and continuation of daily routines and procedures. - I assist clients’ employed network administrators, coordinators, and apprentices with the upkeep and monitoring of the school infrastructure. - I perform maintenance tasks and troubleshooting on any audio-visual equipment. - I process warranties on behalf of clients, taking responsibility for registration, return, and checks on any warranty repairs. - I ensure client contact and network information is always up to date using the Company MIS. - I provide training and support in the use of new equipment and software, sharing techniques and expertise with other staff and apprentices.
