Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 18 months experience in a similar IT support role
- Proficiency in helpdesk software
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools (e.g., Intune, Autopilot)
- Ability to support Microsoft Office 365 & Windows 11
- Strong understanding of various IT systems and a passion for learning new technology and software
- Capacity to find solutions and assist staff at all levels
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Enthusiastic, hardworking, and a team player
Responsibilities
- Provide Helpdesk and telephone support
- Build and deploy laptop clones
- Install basic laptop components
- Offer support for Microsoft Office 365
- Escalate and manage more complex support tickets
- Carry out Active Directory tasks
- Support users both remotely and on-premises
- Create user profiles
- Roll out software both centrally and manually
- Conduct user laptop health checks
- Manage all tasks via the helpdesk system
- Review ticket trends with the line manager
- Assist the team and firm with ad-hoc IT tasks
Description
This is a full-time position that is based onsite in Chelmsford. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Chelmsford and be willing to work in the office five days a week. We are offering a starting salary of £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience, along with additional benefits. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position, so you must have full unrestricted right to work in the UK to be considered.
