Requirements

Must:
- A passion for IT and technology - Experience working within an IT Helpdesk environment is beneficial, ideally with 1 year of experience but not essential - Strong communication skills - Excellent customer service skills - A willingness to learn and a proactive attitude - Strong work ethic - Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues - Team player - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Description


We are a well-established and family-run IT solutions company based in East Dorset, looking to recruit a 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. We offer full training for the successful candidate. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about IT, tech-savvy, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. The role will begin with IT administration and gradually transition into more direct support, where you will interact with clients to help resolve their IT issues. We provide a salary of £24,000 - £27,000, dependent on experience, along with benefits such as 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 25 days after 2 years), free parking, and a pension. Please note, as the role's location requires commuting, you must drive and have your own transport. Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, office-based.
