Requirements
Must:
- Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
- Basic knowledge of the Internet, its structure, and basic networking, including experience with TCP/IP networking protocol and applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot simple technical issues quickly and effectively with minimum supervision.
- Experience in managing and monitoring a ticketing system, including support requests and access requests.
- Desirable: Some experience with the installation and management of server hardware; a minimum of 12-18 months of experience in a Technical Support or similar role; ability to work well in a busy team and deal with a wide range of issues; ability to assess and prioritize faults and respond or escalate accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Support and assist in technical issues raised by clients.
- Manage and monitor BE's ticketing system, ensuring all support requests and access requests are handled efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a productive work environment.
- Work shifts primarily consisting of night and weekend hours as part of a rota.

We offer secure, agile, scalable, and robust hosting solutions to clients from various sectors and countries. We are currently looking to fill three Junior Technical Support Engineer positions with a salary ranging from £27,000 to £33,000 per annum, based on experience and capabilities. The roles will be based at our Enfield (North London) Data Centre, where you may occasionally be requested to visit other Data Centre locations. A successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, essential for handling the responsibilities of the position. We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in Technical Support, IT Technical Support, Systems Engineer, or related roles.
