Requirements
Must:
- I require previous experience in a 1st line support or similar IT role.
- I look for strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools is important.
- I need someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- I will expect you to provide 1st line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- You will manage and triage incoming support tickets via the help desk system.
- You will resolve straightforward technical issues independently.
- If complex problems arise, I will need you to escalate them to 2nd line support or software development teams.
- You will liaise with other departments for cross-functional support when needed.
- You will support users working remotely across multiple offices.
- Assisting with laptop repairs and basic troubleshooting will be part of your job.
- I require you to maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
Description
I am seeking a proactive and tech-savvy 1st Line IT Support Technician to join our team in Liverpool. This position offers a salary of £29,600 per annum on a temporary contract, with the potential to become permanent based on your performance and our business needs. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing essential support to staff both in-office and remotely. You will be working alongside a 2nd Line Support Technician and will support a wide range of digital tools, including design software and digital drawings.
