Requirements
Must:
- At least 2 years of experience in debt recovery.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak with customers empathetically over the phone and explain complex information clearly.
- Problem-solving abilities to find solutions that balance the needs of both our customers and clients.
- Attention to detail in accurately recording and processing information to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

- Engage with debtors through inbound and outbound calls and emails to discuss their arrears and repayment options.
- Manage a client list, providing updates and progress reports on each account.
- Actively listen to understand each customer’s unique financial situation and tailor repayment solutions to meet their needs.
- Utilize negotiation skills to reach mutually agreeable repayment terms that assist customers in clearing their debts.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to find the best solutions for customers facing financial challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, agreements, and payment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and company guidelines.
Description
At Actions Now Ltd, we specialize in providing professional debt recovery services and pride ourselves on the exceptional service we deliver. We have cultivated a positive, supportive working environment in our Liverpool office, and as we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Debt Recovery Agent. This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, plus a non-contractual bonus, with commission paid at the end of each month alongside your monthly wage. You’ll start with 21 days of holiday, plus 8 bank holidays and enjoy two full weeks off over Christmas with full pay. Our working hours are Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This is an in-person role at our Liverpool office (L10 area).
