Requirements
Must:
As a Data Engineer, we are looking for candidates with expertise in data management and a proven track record of providing high-level technical leadership. You should have a broad understanding of standard Enterprise IT solutions and data modeling in a manufacturing and distribution context. Essential skills include experience with leading BI tools in Azure, ETL, Streaming Data, and Data Warehousing such as Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, ADF, and related platforms. Advanced T-SQL programming skills and a deep knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases are important. Familiarity with Microsoft ERP products, including D365, is advantageous. Experience in structured project management settings, such as AGILE, Kanban, or PRINCE2, is beneficial. It would be ideal if you possess a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
Responsibilities
In your role as a Data Engineer, you will contribute to the design and build of the infrastructure that supports the optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources. This includes integrating, setting up, and maintaining analytical tools, as well as monitoring and maintaining data pipelines for performance. You will be responsible for the entire data flow, including the design, maintenance, and configuration of data pipelines, validating new software and technical solutions, ensuring the stability and performance of data pipelines, and providing effective technical leadership. Furthermore, you will work collaboratively with our partners and business owners to identify and develop effective solutions that address data quality issues and offer support to existing business systems and BI via the Service Desk, where necessary.
