Data Caching Engineer

In this role, my focus will be on applying software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response to ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of systems, platforms, and the technologies that support them. Key responsibilities include: - Ensuring availability, performance, and scalability of systems and services through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and capacity planning - Resolving, analyzing, and responding to system outages and disruptions while implementing measures to prevent recurrence - Developing tools and scripts to automate operational processes, thereby reducing manual workload, increasing efficiency, and improving system resilience - Monitoring and optimizing system performance and resource usage, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing best practices for performance tuning - Collaborating with development teams to integrate best practices for reliability, scalability, and performance into the software development lifecycle - Staying informed of industry technology trends and innovations, and actively contributing to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth As a Vice President, I will contribute by setting strategy, driving requirements, and making recommendations for change. I will also plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies and processes; deliver continuous improvements; and escalate breaches of policies and procedures. My role may involve defining jobs and responsibilities for team management, planning for the department’s future needs, counseling employees on performance, and contributing to employee pay decisions. ---
