Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Data Engineer with extensive experience in databases (SQL, NoSQL, Graph) and data engineering tools. You should have knowledge of cloud databases like Google BigQuery or AWS Redshift, and be proficient in Linux/Unix OS and containerization tools such as Docker and Podman. Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data processing frameworks (DBT, Data Mesh) is essential, as well as programming experience in Python, Bash/Shell, and Java. Experience in handling geospatial data is a plus, and a strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security is required. While familiarity with telecom industry data is desirable, it is not essential. A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is necessary.
Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at Truespeed, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our data infrastructure and ensuring the reliability of our data systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering scalable, reliable, and highly available data pipelines.
- Developing data schemas and contracts to ensure consistency and quality.
- Implementing and maintaining data systems, including databases and data warehouses.
- Supporting data governance, security, and compliance initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data resources.
- Developing and maintaining operational processes for data reliability and system automation.
- Utilizing geospatial data and supporting ETL pipelines, including DBT and Data Mesh frameworks.
- Contributing to the development of data engineering practices and principles.
