Requirements
Must:
- A degree or diploma in Computer Science.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day IT requirements of the business.
- Lead innovative system changes to improve overall functionality and streamline processes.
- Review current systems for optimisation of software applications.
- Provide expertise in system improvements that align with company requirements.
- Implement system programming and roll out improvements.
- Educate and train staff on system changes and improvements.
- Review and recommend new or alternative systems to enhance functionality.
- Maintain and manage active directory and configure the network, routers, and IPs.
- Perform server maintenance, network patching, and hardware/software configurations.
- Set up peripherals such as printers or routers and repair equipment as needed.
- Provide daily support for computer network users.
- Assist in implementing new systems as required.
- Act as the point of contact for external IT, phones, and other companies to manage expectations and ensure proper implementation of assigned work.
- Catalogue and store all licenses in a safe and secure location.
- Oversee the day-to-day IT operations for the company.
Description
We are Tardis Environmental UK Ltd, a well-established portable toilet and tanker hire business operating a large fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles across various locations throughout the UK. We hire temporary waste and water solutions, ranging from 1000-litre waste and water storage tanks up to 30,000-litre storage tanks. Currently, we are members of FORS and hold Gold accreditation. We are looking to recruit an Operational IT Support team member to join us at our Telford Depot. The hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm and the salary is £35,000 per annum.
