Requirements

Must:
- Previous experience supporting data activities within SAP or enterprise resource planning implementations. - Familiarity with key SAP data entities such as master data, financial records, and vendor information. - Hands-on knowledge of data migration techniques, including ETL processes, data validation, and reconciliation methods. - Understanding of data quality principles and governance frameworks. - Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical teams and business users confidently. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently. - Experience collaborating with Systems Integrators and internal stakeholders from various departments. - Knowledge of SAP migration tools or ETL platform familiarity is advantageous. - Exposure to data governance standards, such as DAMA, is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Participate in the execution of data-related workstreams within SAP-centric change programs. - Support the formulation of data migration plans, including activities such as data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation. - Collaborate with business subject matter experts and IT teams to define data standards, cleanse datasets, and ensure accurate data reconciliation. - Document business rules and transformation mappings for data processing tasks. - Coordinate rehearsals such as mock data loads, manage defect resolution, and obtain business approval. - Monitor and record data issues and potential risks using RAID logs and status dashboards. - Contribute to establishing long-term data governance frameworks and operational roles. - Act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to promote data quality best practices.

We are seeking an emerging data professional eager to develop expertise in data governance, migration, and quality management within large-scale SAP transformation initiatives. The selected candidate will work closely with a seasoned data lead and gain hands-on experience in supporting critical phases of complex, technology-driven program deliveries. We will provide a thorough training pathway to upskill in core data processes related to enterprise resource planning systems. This position requires physical presence at our client's facility in Cheshire, with a full-time onsite schedule. While the primary site is in Cheshire, there may be opportunities to work at other client locations as needed. The ideal applicant must be a UK national holding security clearance, ready to join our dynamic team committed to ensuring data readiness and integrity during significant digital transformation projects. We offer benefits that include an annual salary of up to £65,000, a 10% performance bonus, coverage of work-related expenses, a generous holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays, healthcare plans, a mobile allowance, and pension contributions. Within the initial month, you will familiarize yourself with ongoing client projects and data workflows. By the end of two months, you are expected to contribute actively to data validation activities and support migration efforts. Within three months, you should be confidently managing data issues, supporting governance initiatives, and collaborating effectively across teams to ensure a seamless data transition and long-term data integrity.
