Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer within large, complex organizations.
- Focus on Azure-based Data Platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure AI, Data Lake, Cognitive Services, and OpenAI.
- Proven ability to deploy Azure services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Deep knowledge of Terraform, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong working knowledge of Snowflake engineering and operations.
- Solid understanding of security, networking, identity management, and access control (automated via Terraform).
- Good awareness of the DevOps approach.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer a robust, scalable Data Platform with a strong focus on Azure and AI services.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment of the Data Platform with business needs.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, utilizing Terraform for automation.
- Ensure security and compliance measures are integrated within the Data Platform.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing data solutions, maintaining high standards of performance and reliability.
Description
We are urgently looking for a Platform Engineer with strong knowledge of Data to join our team for a 6-month project in London with a hybrid work option. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical expertise, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment. While immediate availability is a nice-to-have, a background in infrastructure with a solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and security will be beneficial.
