Requirements
Must:
- A Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Modeller or in a similar role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling techniques, including normalization and denormalization.
- Clear communication skills for presenting complex data challenges to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating complex data sets.
- Ability to analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Solid understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, lineage, and compliance.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools for data integration.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
Responsibilities
As our new Data Modeller, you will take a lead role in transforming how we manage, use, and think about data. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the data models that underpin our strategic decision-making and day-to-day performance. You will leverage your technical expertise in data architecture and modelling to drive a cultural shift across the business, embedding data and insight at the heart of everything we do.
